Drupal Association helping Drupal flourish

We at GreenGeeks are big supporters of the Drupal project. We show our love of the Drupal community by not only making it easy to start hosting a Drupal site, but also through giving at many levels of support to the Drupal Association: we are a Supporting Partner, have been an Organization Member, and we’ve sponsored a number of DrupalCons. As a member of the Drupal community yourself, we want you to know about the good work of the Drupal Association.

The Drupal Association (DA) is a not-for-profit organization with the mission to help Drupal flourish. CIRA warns .CA registrants of online scam

The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has received reports of an online scam, wherein “renewdomain.ca” is sending out fake email renewal notices to .CA Registrants. “Renewdomain.ca” is not a CIRA Certified Registrar and is fraudulently posing as the Registrant’s Registrar in an attempt to obtain payment from the Registrant. The email identifies the recipient’s domain name and that it is about to expire. The recipient is then directed to renew the domain by clicking on a link that leads to a “renewdomain.ca” PayPal payment page.
CIRA has worked with the offending website’s Registrar and the site is now shut down. CIRA is continuing to work with PayPal in an effort to shut down the fraudulent payment page.

All .CA Registrants should ignore these emails and not provide payment.
